After years of innovation, we are proud to unveil a true world first: a fully natural pocket-sprung mattress — without a single metal spring. Instead of wire coils, we use hand-formed cylinders of natural coir, skillfully pressed together to create individual, responsive support pockets.
The result? A wonderfully comfortable mattress that combines the gentle springiness of coir with the softness and support you’d expect from a traditional pocket-sprung mattress — but without the metal, without the stiffness, and without compromise.
It offers a far more luxurious feel than a solid block of coir, and a far more natural alternative to standard metal spring mattresses.
Covers and Waterproof Protectors
The mattress is finished with top and bottom layers of natural wool, secured neatly in place with stockinette.
It is then fitted with a tough, all-cotton outer cover, which can be removed easily for washing.
To make life even easier, each mattress comes with two Outlux® cotton waterproof protectors.
One protector can be secured to the base of the mattress, and then covered with your regular cotton sheet — ensuring a soft, comfortable, and safe sleeping surface for your baby.
If your little one has an accident and the sheet and protector get wet, simply remove the used protector, pop it in the wash, and replace it with the spare provided — ensuring your baby stays dry, comfortable, and happy with minimal fuss.
