Our travel cot mattress uses foam of outstanding quality - superior to any you will find available for a travel cot. Our foam offers firm support coupled with comfort and durability.

Important Safety Note

A travel cot has soft sides with a netting system all the way round. When you add a mattress, a small gap is created between the mattress and the soft side. For safety:

• Do not buy a mattress deeper than 5cm
• Ensure the highest quality foam in both density and firmness, such as our 41/150 foam

• The Coolmax passes excess heat through to the Maxispace bonded to the back for easy dispersal
• Maxispace is a spacer fabric - a cushioned, breathable layer that disperses heat and promotes constant airflow around the mattress
• This bonded fabric is highly breathable and temperature-regulating, allowing air to circulate freely to reduce the risk of overheating
• Comfortable and welcoming surface - the spacer layer adds gentle cushioning without compromising firmness or safety
• This fabric is not waterproof by design, which is why your mattress base has a Safetex waterproof band - targeted protection where it's needed, without trapping heat or blocking airflow
• Hygienic and easy to care for - machine washable at 60 degrees C, the temperature required to kill dust mites and bacteria
• The cover dries very quickly after a fast spin
• Coolmax and Maxispace fabrics are securely fused for long-lasting performance and shape retention

The Coolmax & Maxispace is only on one side because the fabric is expensive, but when you wash the cover just fit it back on the other side of the base to even out the wear.
